Hi there, thanks for visiting my blog! I set up this blog to prove that even a beginner can create something beautiful with a little practice. I hope it will encourage others out there to get 'crafty' and become creative. This blog will feature things I've been making and patterns I like. I'd love to hear about what you're making too.

Christmas Is Coming!
Yes, I know it's only October... but it's nearly that time of the year (again)!
Just had to share this gorgeous snowflake decoration. It's very simple to do - you just need red and white thread. The snowflake kit originally came with my last Cross Stitcher Magazine, but you can download instructions to make your own here.
Put three together for a nice hanging banner decoration, or make them into decorations to hang on the Christmas Tree.
If you're a beginner, like me, it'll probably take you about four hours to complete fully. But it's so pretty - it's well worth it!
More of my Christmas makes to come soon...
