Hi there, thanks for visiting my blog! I set up this blog to prove that even a beginner can create something beautiful with a little practice. I hope it will encourage others out there to get 'crafty' and become creative. This blog will feature things I've been making and patterns I like. I'd love to hear about what you're making too.

Baby Joy
Hi all,
Just had to share this cross stitch with you. As you can see, it's yet to be framed. My cousin's wife gave birth to a baby girl, Erin, just after Christmas. I thought a cross stitch would be a unique present, and make a change from clothes or toys!
I decided not to backstitch the rattle as I thought it looked nicer and more girly without. It creates a softer effect.
I used an Anchor kit to stitch this, and I found it on Ebay for a bargain price!
Would love to hear your comments on it!
